The House in Repino is a testament to Kerimov's innovative approach to design. Inspired by the unique natural environment of the region, the house incorporates local materials such as stone, wood, and metal. Over time, these materials will age and blend with the environment, further strengthening the bond between architecture and nature.
The 1000 sq. m house is not just a residential structure, but a living entity that interacts with its surroundings. The design preserves as many existing trees as possible, with some even piercing through the canopies. This unique feature creates a rhythm that enhances the relationship between architecture and nature.
Despite a strong stylistic limitation that required all residences in the villa community to be in a Wright-like style, Kerimov managed to create a completely original project. The house is well-integrated into the landscape, reflecting the designer's interpretation of the Wright-like style while maintaining its unique identity.
The house is designed around a central living room, the "main square" of the house. Every room, including the SPA, master bedroom, and children's rooms, has access to individual terraces. The central outdoor lounge zone features a fireplace and a summer kitchen, providing an ideal space for relaxation and entertainment.
The design also includes a guest block with two guest bedrooms, technical facilities, a garage with staff facility, and a workshop. The project, which began in 2020, is still in progress, demonstrating Kerimov's commitment to perfection and attention to detail.
In conclusion, the House in Repino is a shining example of innovative residential design. It showcases the power of architecture to blend with nature and create living spaces that are not just functional, but also harmonious with their surroundings. The house is a testament to Kerimov's talent and vision, earning him well-deserved recognition in the field of architecture.
